Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the procedures and conditions for course cancellations, transfers, and refunds at LuckPot Recruitment Academy. We aim to provide fair and transparent policies while maintaining the integrity of our programs and services.

1. Standard Course Refunds

1.1 Cancellation by Student

Our refund policy for course cancellations is as follows:

  • 30+ days before course start date: Full refund minus a $50 administrative fee
  • 15-29 days before course start date: 75% refund of the total course fee
  • 8-14 days before course start date: 50% refund of the total course fee
  • 7 days or less before course start date: No refund available

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to bookings@luckpotacademy.com with "Course Cancellation - [Your Name]" in the subject line.

1.2 Course Transfers

If you are unable to attend a course, you may transfer your enrollment to another scheduled date or to another individual, subject to the following conditions:

  • Transfer to another date: One free transfer request is permitted if made at least 14 days before the original course start date. Additional transfers or transfers made within 14 days of the course start date incur a $75 transfer fee.
  • Transfer to another individual: You may transfer your enrollment to another individual at no additional cost if notified at least 7 days before the course start date. A $25 administration fee applies for transfers made with less than 7 days' notice.

Transfer requests must be submitted in writing to bookings@luckpotacademy.com with "Course Transfer - [Your Name]" in the subject line.

1.3 Non-Attendance

No refund will be provided for non-attendance of a course without prior cancellation. In cases of emergency or extenuating circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss potential options.

2. Online Course Refunds

2.1 Cancellation Period

For online courses, we offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee from the date of purchase. If you're unsatisfied with the course content, you may request a refund within this period, provided you have completed no more than 25% of the course material.

2.2 Exclusions

The following are not eligible for refunds under our online course policy:

  • Courses where more than 25% of the content has been accessed
  • Downloadable resources or materials that have been accessed
  • Bundled courses purchased at a discounted rate
  • Courses purchased with promotional codes offering discounts of 40% or more

3. Cancellation by LuckPot Academy

In the event that LuckPot Recruitment Academy cancels a course for any reason, you will be offered the following options:

  • A full refund of the course fee
  • Transfer to another course date at no additional cost
  • Credit toward another course of your choice

If a course is canceled after it has started, a pro-rated refund will be provided based on the portion of the course that was not delivered.

4. Payment of Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method:

  • Credit/debit card payments will be refunded to the original card
  • Bank transfers will be refunded via bank transfer
  • Other payment methods will be refunded by an appropriate means determined by LuckPot Academy

Please allow 7-14 business days for refunds to be processed and appear in your account.

5. Special Circumstances

5.1 Illness or Emergency

In cases of serious illness or emergency that prevents attendance, we may offer more flexible refund or transfer options. Documentation such as a doctor's note may be required. Each case will be reviewed individually.

5.2 Corporate Bookings

For corporate or group bookings of five or more participants, special cancellation and refund terms may apply as specified in your corporate training agreement.

6. Complaints and Disputes

If you are dissatisfied with a course and believe you are entitled to a refund outside of the standard policy, please submit a detailed description of your concerns to support@luckpotacademy.com. We will review your case and respond within 5 business days.

If we are unable to resolve the issue to your satisfaction, you may refer to the dispute resolution section in our Terms and Conditions.

7. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to course bookings made after the effective date of the revised policy.

The policy in effect at the time of your course booking will apply to that transaction.
